Holly Evans

Holly Evans grew up in Steelton, Pennsylvania, and is proud to be a Radio City Rockette. Holly has performed in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular for seven years as well as other Rockette events throughout the year.  Holly is a teacher of the Rockette Experience and happily teaches Rockette master classes across the country.  She is also involved with the Radio City Charity, Cheering for Children.

Holly holds a BA degree from Butler University in Dance Education and is currently attending New York University for Arts Administration.  Holly has a diverse performing background in many forms of dance and theater.  She performed with the Harrisburg Ballet, the Pennsylvania Dance Theater, the Foot and Fiddle Dance Company NY, and in the New York City Elan Awards honoring Rob Marshall.  She has also been seen regionally in productions of 42nd Street, Chicago, and Grease.  Holly had the great opportunity to perform with Alan Cumming in a tribute performance honoring Chita Rivera, choreographed by Chet Walker.

As a dance educator, Holly teaches master classes across the country. She is on the faculty of the American Musical and Dramatics Academy in New York City.  Holly spent four summers on the Ballet Faculty of Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts and was on the faculty and ballet mistress of St. Paul's School in New Hampshire, where she also taught dance academics such as Dance History.  Holly has a great deal of experience in public school dance education and has taught school residencies in dance throughout New York and Pennsylvania. As a choreographer, Holly’s work can be seen on various companies and schools on the East Coast.  

Outside of the dance world, Holly is also a certified Pilates Instructor and Group Fitness Educator in New York City. She resides in Brooklyn with her husband and cat.

Locally, Holly was a founding member of Harrisburg Ballet and for the last seven years she has led the kickline at the Harrisburg capitol for National Dance Week.
